Replacing Google Nest Hub 7 Repuestos

Please follow these instructions carefully. Working with electronic devices may harm the device if not done correctly.

    Tools Needed

    • Precision screwdriver
    • Spudger or plastic pry tool
    • Heat gun or hair dryer (for adhesive)

    Steps for Replacement

    • Unplug the power adapter from the Nest Hub and any other connected device.
    • Using the heat gun, carefully warm the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive.
    • Insert the plastic tool into the edge and carefully pry the screen off. Application of too much force can crack the screen.
    • Locate the screws on the perimeter of the device and remove them with a precision screwdriver.
    • Carefully remove the back panel revealing the internal components of the device.
    • Identify the component that needs to be replaced. Each one will differ in size, shape, and location.
    • Unscrew and unclip the faulty part. Note that some components may have adhesive that needs heating first.
    • Replace the faulty component with the new part.
    • Reattach the back plate and screen in reverse order.
    • Finally, reconnect the power adapter and test the device thoroughly to ensure the new part is functioning as expected.
