    • Insert the plastic prying tool into the created gap and work your way around the iPad, loosening the adhesive further.
    • Take great care near the bottom part of the screen where the home button and cable connections are located.
    • Lift the screen from the body revealing the interior. Remember, the screen is still attached by several cables.
    • Disconnect the ribbon cables carefully using the plastic prying tool, allowing you to completely remove the screen.
    • Now, you have access to the internal components for replacement.
