    Procedure

Please ensure your Surface Pro 4 is turned off and disconnected from any power source before beginning the following steps:

    • First, use a heat gun or an iOpener to heat the edges of the display to soften the adhesive.
    • Then, use a spudger or a plastic opening tool to pry the display off carefully. Start from the top edge of the tablet and work your way around the sides.
    • After separating the display, carefully disconnect the display connector.
    • Next, remove the screws holding the internals with a T5 Torx screwdriver.
    • Once the screws are removed, lift out the internal components and replace the necessary parts.
    • Fix the new repuestos in place and reattach the screws using the T5 Torx screwdriver.
    • Reconnect the display connector and reattach the display to the Surface Pro 4 by applying adhesive to the edges.
