    Screen Replacement

    Although the Surface Pro 8's screen is not easily replaceable, it is possible with caution and patience. Always make sure to keep track of all screws and components.

    • Switch off your Surface Pro 8.
    • Heat the edges of the device’s screen with a heat gun to loosen the adhesive.
    • Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry the screen from the device’s body.
    • Unscrew any fasteners holding the display connectors in place, detaching the faulty screen.
    • Plug in your new screen, screwing all connectors securely in place.
    • Reapply adhesive and press your new screen back onto the body of the device.
    • Switch on your Surface Pro 8 to test the new screen.

    Battery Replacement

    Replacing the battery requires similar steps to replacing the screen.
