    Instructions for Replacing PSP 3000 Battery

    The following instructions explain how to replace the battery for PSP 3000. Please proceed with caution and at your own risk:

    Tools required:

    • Replacement battery
    • Small Phillips head screwdriver

    Procedure:

    1. Power off your PSP 3000 system.

    2. Carefully turn your PSP unit around, and on the left side, there's a latch covering the battery.

    3. Move the latch to the right to unlock and remove the battery cover.

    4. Remove the battery carefully from its housing.

    5. Replace with the new battery, ensuring that it's firmly seated.

    6. Replace the battery cover by aligning it with the unit and sliding it into place until the latch clicks securing the cover.

    7. Turn on your PSP 3000, if it does not power on, make sure the PSP 3000 is charging.
