Its internal format allows the deteriorated unit to be replaced while preserving the device's power supply configuration. It is a practical solution for repairs involving deterioration, insufficient battery life or charging failures associated with the battery, allowing device startup and charging behaviour to be checked before completing installation.

- Completely power off the device and use electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection during the repair.

- Disconnect the existing battery before working on the internal components of the device.

- Carefully remove the previous battery and clean any adhesive residue remaining in its housing.

- Position the new BLP877 battery in its corresponding location, using suitable adhesive for secure attachment.

- Align the power flex cable and connect it without forcing the contacts or applying excessive pressure to the connector.

- Check device startup, battery recognition and charging operation before final closure.

- Replace the closure adhesives and check correct housing attachment and sealing.

- After installation, perform a full charge and check how the battery percentage changes during normal operation.
