Installation Tips

Disconnect the battery before connecting or removing the screen.

Use ESD protection throughout the repair.

Perform a cold test before removing protectors and closing the device.

Connect the flex cables fully aligned and without applying lateral pressure.

Avoid bending or twisting the Hard OLED panel during installation.

Check image, touch response, brightness, proximity sensor and Face ID before closing.

Replace the perimeter adhesive and completely clean the remains of the previous adhesive.

Notice

To preserve the correct operation of Face ID and the front sensors, carefully handle the upper assembly from the replaced screen and perform the necessary transfers during the repair. Components associated with the TrueDepth system are paired with the device and may lose functionality if they are damaged during disassembly. Always perform all tests before closing the device.
