Installation Tips

Disconnect the battery before connecting or removing the screen.

Use ESD protection throughout the repair.

Perform a cold test before removing protectors and adhesives.

Align the connectors correctly and avoid applying pressure to the flex cables.

Check image, touch response, brightness, Face ID and sensors before closing.

Avoid applying direct pressure to the panel during installation.

Replace the perimeter adhesive and completely remove previous residue.

This JK Incell FHD screen operates at 60 Hz. The iPhone 17 is equipped from the factory with a Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion technology and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, so this replacement does not maintain the 120 Hz of the factory installed panel. There may also be differences in brightness, contrast, black depth and power consumption due to the change from OLED to Incell LCD technology. It is recommended to fully check image, touch response, Face ID, sensors and general operation before closing the device.
