    Instructions to Replace Blackberry 9670

    Before starting the process, ensure you have the right tools. You will need a T6 Torx screwdriver and a plastic pry tool.

    1. Turn Off the Device

    Before starting any repairs, turn off the device. This will help to prevent electrical damage during the repair process.

    2. Remove Battery Cover and Battery

    Press and slide the release latch to remove the battery cover. Remove the battery by lifting from the bottom.

    3. Unscrew Torx Screws

    Use a Torx T6 screwdriver to unscrew the four screws present on each corner of the metal plate which is visible once you remove the battery.

    4. Lift the Metal Plate

    Use a plastic pry tool to lift the metal plate out of the device.

    5. Disconnect the Keyboard Connector

    The keyboard connector is located under the metal plate, use a plastic pry tool to disconnect it.

    6. Install the New Keyboard

    Reconnect the keyboard connector and reinstall the metal plate, make sure to fix the plate back with its screws. Then, re-install the battery and the battery cover.

    7. Test the New Keyboard

    Turn on your BlackBerry 9670 and test the new keyboard to make sure it works properly.

    If all the keys work correctly, the replacement is successful.
