Before you start any repairs, always make sure your phone is powered off and unplugged from any power source.

    Screen replacement

The following steps are intended for the replacement of the screen:

    • Using a heat gun, warm up the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive.
    • Once the adhesive is soft, use a plastic opening tool to gently pry up the back cover.
    • Disconnect the old screen connector from the motherboard.
    • Then carefully remove the old screen and replace it with the new one. Fasten the new screen connector to the motherboard.
    • Attach the back cover to the phone, pressing down firmly around the edges to re-adhere it.

    Battery replacement

The following steps are intended for the replacement of the battery:

    • Just as with the screen replacement, heat the edges of the back cover and carefully pry it off with a plastic opening tool.
    • Locate the battery connector on the motherboard and disconnect it.
    • Carefully pry the battery out of its housing using a plastic tool.
    • Place the new battery into the housing and reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.
    • Re-adhere the back cover to the phone, pressing firmly around the edges.
