    Instructions for Replacing Camara HTC

    Please turn off your device and follow the instructions below to replace your Camara HTC. Keep in mind that this can void your warranty, follow the steps at your own risk.

    Tools Needed

    • Small Phillips screwdriver
    • Plastic opening tools

    Step-by-step instructions

    1. Turn off the phone.

    2. Remove the back cover of the phone by applying pressure and slide it off.

    3. Remove the battery.

    4. Remove the screws on the outer edges of the back of the phone with a Small Phillips screwdriver.

    5. Use the plastic opening tools to reveal the inner components of the phone. Start from the bottom of the device and move upward prying open the clasps.

    6. Locate the Camara HTC and disconnect it from the motherboard - it’s usually connected via a ribbon cable.

    7. Remove the old Camara HTC module.

    8. Place the new Camara HTC module, ensuring the ribbon cable is fully connected to the motherboard. Make sure the new camera sits flush with the back of the phone, similar to the old camera.

    9. Reassemble the phone. Starting by clipping the back cover back on.

    10. Fasten the screws again. After that, insert the battery.

    11. Turn your device on to check if the new camera is functioning properly.
