• Position the new screen and connect it to the connector.
• Fix the new screen in place; applying adhesive at the edges as required.

Replacing the Power and Volume Buttons

• After removing the screen as previously detailed, locate the side button flex assembly.
• Disconnect it from the connector and remove the old buttons carefully.
• Fit in the new buttons and reconnect the side button flex assembly.
• Replace the screen following the steps specified.

Replacing the Battery

• With the screen removed, locate the battery connector and disconnect it.
• Using a plastic tool, pry the battery from the adhesive holding it in place. Be careful not to puncture or bend the battery.
• Place the new battery in the same spot and connect it to the battery connector.
• Replace the screen as detailed above.
