Instructions for Replacing HTC Touch2 Repuestos
Tools Required
Before you start, ensure you have the following tools: Small Phillips Screwdriver, Plastic Opening Tools, and a new HTC Touch2 Repuestos part.
Step 1: Remove Back Cover and Battery
- Switch off the device and disconnect from any power supply.
- Use your thumb or a plastic opening tool to gently pry and remove the back cover.
- Remove the battery from the device.
Step 2: Remove the Mid Frame
- Locate and remove the six screws securing the mid-frame to the front assembly.
- Gently lift the mid frame from the front assembly.
Step 3: Replace Faulty Part
- Locate the faulty repuesto part - this could be the LCD screen, or any other component you want to replace.
- Disconnect the faulty part carefully from its connector and replace it with the new one.
Step 4: Reassembly
- Reattach the mid-frame to the front assembly and replace the six screws.
- Replace the battery and snap the back cover into place.
