Before starting, ensure you have all necessary replacement parts and ensure the phone is turned off.

Step One: Removing the Back Case and Battery

Push the edge of a plastic opening tool into the seam between the back case and the body of the phone, and move it along the edge to remove the back cover. Remove the battery by lifting it up from the bottom.

Step Two: Removing the Screen Assembly

Remove screws from around the frame and then carefully use your plastic opening tool to pry off the screen. Make sure the tool does not make contact with the LCD screen itself as it could cause damage.

Step Three: Camera Replacement

• Remove the screw holding the metal cover of the camera in place.
• Remove the metal cover and carefully lift the camera module connection to disconnect it.
• Replace with the new camera, replace the cover and screw it back into place.

Step Four: Reassembly

Place the screen assembly back onto the body of the phone. Replace all screws to secure it. Insert the battery into its slot and replace the back case, by pressing it back into place until it clicks.

Note: Ensure all components are fitted correctly before turning the phone on.
