    Steps for Replacement

    Follow these steps for a smooth replacement process:

    • Turn off the Meilan 6 device then remove the SIM card tray.
    • Using a heat gun, heat the edges of the device to soften the adhesive holding the back cover.
    • Use the plastic opening tools to pry open the back cover from the phone gently.
    • Unscrew the screws securing the shield covering the internal hardware. Lift the shield using the tweezers.
    • Disconnect the battery connector using the spudger then carefully remove the battery.
    • For replacing the display, disconnect the screen connector. Use the heat gun and plastic tools to remove the old screen gently.
    • Put in the replacement parts, then reconnect the connectors. Screw back the shield.
    • Place back the back panel into proper position, ensuring it fits snugly. Reinsert the SIM card tray.
