Opening the Device

Power off the device. Remove the SIM card tray. Use the plastic opening tool at the bottom edge to gently pry up and remove the back cover.

Removing the Battery

Unscrew the retaining screws holding down the metal shield. Carefully lift the battery connector using tweezers. Lift out the battery.
