    The Botones, commonly known as smartphone buttons, are integral components of a mobile device. They facilitate navigation, interaction, and certain actions like screen lock/ unlock, volume control, power off/on, etc.

    Botones come in different types:

    • Physical Botones: They are tangible and give a tactile feedback when pressed
    • Capacitive Botones: These are touch-sensitive and do not require a physical press
    • On-screen Botones: These are software integrated and part of the touch-screen

    How to Replace Botones

    • New Botones

    Steps to Replace Botones

    • Switch off the smartphone before starting the repair to avoid any electrical damage.
    • Remove the back cover of the smartphone carefully. This may require a plastic opening tool.
    • Once open, locate and gently remove the battery. The battery’s location varies by model, so refer to the device manual if needed.
    • Locate the Botones’ screws. Unscrew them using a suitable screwdriver and remember their positions as they may be of different sizes.
    • After removing the screws, gently pull out the old Botones using tweezers.
    • Place the new Botones at the same spot where the old one was removed and carefully press it down so it's well attached.
    • Reinsert the screws in their respective places and tighten them.
    • Finally, reinsert the battery and put the back cover back on. Turn on your phone to test the new Botones functionality.

    Make sure you handle all parts with care to avoid any internal damage. If you struggle at any step, it is advisable to take the device to a professional repairer.
