Before starting the replacement process, ensure you have the following tools:
It is crucial to turn off your device before beginning the repair process to avoid the risk of short circuits.
With the device off, use the SIM Tray Ejector tool to remove the SIM card tray from the device.
Using a plastic tool, start to gently pry open the rear casing from the bottom corner of the phone. Be careful not to scratch or damage the casing during this process.
Once the rear casing is removed, use the spudger tool to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
This step will vary depending on the part you are replacing. For example, if you're replacing the screen, you’ll need to remove the screws around the screen, disconnect the flex cable from the motherboard, and then remove the damaged screen. After the damaged part is removed, install the new replacement part and reassemble the device by following these instructions in reverse order.
Please note that performing repairs on your mobile device can void your warranty. It is also worth noting that you should only attempt to repair your device if you are comfortable with taking it apart and have the proper tools to do so.
