- Opening Picks
- Nylon Spudger
- iFixit opening tool or suction handle
Procedure:
Follow the steps below to replace parts of the Nokia 3.4:
- Switch off the Nokia 3.4: Before starting, always ensure that the phone is powered off to prevent any electrical mishaps.
- Remove the SIM tray: Use the SIM tray ejector, push into the small hole on the left top side, pull out the tray & keep it aside.
- Opening the rear cover: Use the iFixit opening tools to gently pry loose the adhesive holding the back cover to the phone.
- Disconnecting the battery: Utilize your ESD-safe tweezers or the nylon spudger to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
- Unscrew the damaged part: Use your Philips #000 Screwdriver to remove the screws holding the damaged part. Make sure to keep a record of the order and location of each screw for reassembly.
- Replacing the part: With thedamage part removed, you can now install the new component. Make sure the new part is of the correct spec and is compatible with the Nokia 3.4.
- Reassembly: Once the part is successfully replaced, follow the steps in reverse to reassemble the phone. Be sure to check for full functionality before committing to sealing the phone shut.
Note: Ensure to reconnect all the disconnected cables and snap all clips back into place during reassembly.
