Ensure the OnePlus device is completely turned off before beginning the replacement process.
Use a heat gun or hair dryer to gently heat the edges of the back cover. This softens the adhesive, making it easier to remove. Carefully use a suction cup and plastic opening tools to pry the back cover from the device.
Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the protective cover over the battery connector. Once the cover is removed, use tweezers or a plastic tool to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
Use the heat gun or hair dryer to heat the edges of the screen. Gently use the plastic opening tools to separate the screen from the frame. Be cautious not to damage the ribbon cable connecting the screen to the motherboard.
Carefully lift the screen and locate the ribbon cable connector. Use a plastic tool or tweezers to disconnect the ribbon cable from the motherboard.
Connect the new screen's ribbon cable to the motherboard. Ensure the connection is secure.
Carefully align the new screen with the frame. Press gently around the edges to secure the adhesive. If necessary, use additional adhesive strips to ensure the screen is firmly attached.
Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard. Replace the protective cover and secure it with screws.
Align the back cover with the device and press firmly around the edges. Use the heat gun or hair dryer to warm the adhesive and ensure a secure fit.
Turn on the OnePlus device to ensure the new pantalla táctil is functioning correctly. Test touch responsiveness and display clarity.
Verify that all components are secure and there are no loose parts. If everything is in order, the replacement process is complete.
