Battery Replacement
- Power off the Oppo N3 completely before starting the replacement process.
- Remove the SIM card tray using a SIM eject tool or a small pentalobe screwdriver.
- Use a heat gun to warm up the back cover edges for about 2-3 minutes. This will loosen the adhesive.
- Employ a suction cup tool to gently pull up the back cover. Slide a plastic card or pry tool around the edges to detach the cover from the adhesive. Be careful not to damage the internal components.
- Once the back cover is removed, locate the battery connector and disconnect it using a pair of tweezers or a plastic pry tool.
- Remove the screws securing the battery and carefully lift it out. If there is an adhesive strip below the battery, pull it out gently to release the battery.
- Place the new battery into the compartment and secure it with screws. Connect the battery connector back to its port.
- Reassemble the back cover by aligning it properly and pressing it firmly into place. If necessary, reheat the adhesive strip to ensure it sticks properly.
- Insert the SIM card tray back into the device.
- Power on the Oppo N3 to check if the new battery is functioning correctly.
Screen Replacement
- Power off the device and remove the SIM card tray.
- Heat the front of the screen using a heat gun for about 2-3 minutes to loosen the adhesive.
- Use a suction cup to lift the screen slightly and insert a plastic card between the screen and frame. Carefully slide the card around the edges to separate the screen from the frame.
- Disconnect the display connectors gently using a plastic pry tool.
- Carefully remove the damaged screen.
- Align the new screen and connect the display connectors. Ensure they are securely attached.
- Gently press the new screen into place. Apply slight pressure around the edges to ensure the screen adheres properly.
- Insert the SIM card tray back into the device.
- Power on the Oppo N3 to confirm the new screen is working.
