Step 1: Power off the phone and remove the SIM card tray using the SIM ejector pin.
Step 2: Use a heat gun or hair dryer to slightly heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive.
Step 3: Place a suction cup on the back cover and gently lift to create a gap. Insert a plastic pry tool into the gap and carefully work around the edges to release the back cover.
Step 4: Once the back cover is removed, use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the internal frame and components.
Step 5: Disconnect the battery connector using the plastic pry tool to avoid any electrical damage.
Step 6: Disconnect the display connector and any other flex cables attached to the motherboard.
Step 7: Use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the front screen edges, then use the suction cup and a plastic pry tool to lift and separate the screen from the frame.
Step 8: Remove the old screen and replace it with the new LCD and touch screen digitizer assembly. Ensure all connectors are properly aligned and attached.
Step 9: Reconnect the display, battery, and other flex cables to the motherboard.
Step 10: Reassemble the internal frame and components, securing all screws back into place.
Step 11: Reapply adhesive to the back cover and press it firmly back into place. Use the heat gun or hair dryer if necessary to help the adhesive set.
Step 12: Power on the device to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly.
Step 13: Reinsert the SIM card tray.
