Instructions for Replacing Oukitel K7 Parts
Tools Needed
- Plastic Pry Tool
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Tweezers
- SIM Card Ejector Tool
How to Replace the Battery
- Turn off the phone.
- Remove the SIM card tray using the SIM card ejector tool.
- Use the plastic pry tool to gently remove the back cover starting from the notch on the side of the phone.
- Carefully disconnect the battery connector using tweezers.
- Remove the old battery. Be careful to avoid puncturing the battery or damaging other components.
- Insert the new battery in place.
- Reconnect the battery connector.
- Place the back cover back onto the phone and press gently around the edges to secure it.
- Reinsert the SIM card tray.
- Turn on the phone and verify the new battery is functioning correctly.
How to Replace the Screen
- Turn off the phone and remove the SIM card tray using the SIM card ejector tool.
- Use the plastic pry tool to gently remove the back cover.
- Disconnect the battery connector using tweezers.
- Carefully remove the screws securing the mid-frame using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Gently detach the mid-frame from the phone body.
- Disconnect the screen connector from the motherboard using tweezers.
- Heat the edges of the screen slightly with a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the adhesive.
- Use the plastic pry tool to gently lift and remove the damaged screen from the phone body.
- Carefully apply adhesive to the edges of the new screen.
- Connect the new screen to the motherboard.
- Place the new screen onto the phone body and press gently to ensure it adheres properly.
- Reconnect the battery connector.
- Reattach the mid-frame and secure it with the screws.
- Place the back cover onto the phone and press around the edges to secure it.
- Reinsert the SIM card tray.
- Turn on the phone and verify the new screen is functioning correctly.
