    Tools needed:

    • Screwdriver
    • Pry Opening Tool
    • Tweezers
    • Suction Cup

    Steps:

    Before you start, make sure that you have switched off your TCL 30 5G and unplug the device from charging.

    1. Use the pry opening tool to gently lift the back panel of the phone. Start from the bottom edge for easier access.
    2. With the back panel removed, you will see the battery and the mainboard. Locate and remove all screws holding the battery and mainboard using your screwdriver.
    3. Apply the suction cup to the battery. Use it to pull up and remove the battery from the phone. Be very careful not to damage any surrounding components.
    4. To replace a camera module, gently disconnect the camera connector from the mainboard using the tweezers. Replace with the new camera module and reconnect it to the mainboard.
    5. To replace a screen, gently disconnect the screen connector from the mainboard using the tweezers. Replace with the new screen and reconnect it to the mainboard.
    6. Once all parts are replaced, put back the screws to hold the new battery and mainboard.
    7. Fit the back panel into place on the phone. Apply gentle pressure to snap it back into place.

    Turn on the device to check whether the replaced parts are functioning properly. If not, retrace your steps and correct any mistakes.
