    • Tweezers

    Steps to Follow

Before you begin, ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any power source.

    • Start by removing the back cover of the device using the plastic opening tool. Insert the tool in the small gap between the back cover and the main body of the device and slide it around the device to unclip the latches.
    • Unscrew all visible screws using the Phillips screwdriver.
    • Remove the protective plate which covers the battery and internal parts using the plastic opening tool.
    • Disconnect the battery connector and the connectors for the front and back camera using the spudger.
    • Carefully lift the battery out of the device. If it's firmly glued in place, use a heated iOpener or heat pad to soften the adhesive before lifting with the spudger.
