Instructions for Replacing UMI Emax Repuestos

It's essential to approach with caution and be adequately equipped when undertaking a component replacement. A magnetic screwdriver set, plastic opening tools, and an ESD-safe Tweezers set will be necessary. Please disconnect the device from any power sources before starting.

Screen Replacement

• Step 1: Power off the device and remove the SIM Card tray.
• Step 2: Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry open the back cover from the frame, starting from the bottom edge and working around the phone.
• Step 3: Unscrew all visible screws to detach the protective metal plate and disconnect the battery plug.
• Step 4: Disconnect the display connector and remove the damaged screen.
• Step 5: Align the new screen to the frame and connect the display connector. Replace the metal plate and screws, reconnect the battery and reattach the back cover.

Battery Replacement

• Step 1: Starting as earlier, power off the device, remove the SIM Card Tray, and open the back cover.
• Step 2: Again, unscrew the protective metal plate, and disconnect the battery plug.
• Step 3: Carefully pry the battery free from its adhesive tape hold and remove it.
• Step 4: Position the new battery and secure it with the adhesive tape. Reconnect the battery plug, place back the metal plate and screws. Finally, reattach the back cover.

Note: In case of replacing the camera or any other internal components, you may need additional or specialised tools. Always remember to handle these components with great care to avoid any damage.
