Replacing Touch Screen & LCD Display

Tools needed: Screwdriver, plastic opening tools, tweezers, and a heat gun.

• Turn off the device and remove the SIM card tray.
• Heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive holding it in place.
• Use the plastic opening tools to gently pry the screen away from the frame.
• Unscrew and remove the shield that's covering the display's flex cable connector then disconnect the cable.
• Attach the new display to the phone, securing the flex cable connector and shield in place.
• Reapply adhesive where necessary and reattach the screen to the frame.

Replacing Battery

Tools needed: Screwdriver, plastic opening tools, tweezers

• Remove the back cover of the phone using the plastic opening tools.
• Unscrew and remove the shield that's covering the battery connector and disconnect the connector.
• Use the plastic opening tools to gently lift the battery out of the phone.
• Fit the new battery in place, reconnect the connector and reapply the shield.
• Reattach the back cover.
