How To Replace Parts on The Vivo Y76s 5G

Before you start, make sure you have the right tools - a small Phillips screwdriver, a plastic or metal spudger, tweezers, a SIM Card Eject Tool for removing the SIM card, and a new replacement part.

    1. Turn off the phone

Press and hold the power button, and then select to power off the Vivo Y76s 5G.

    2. Remove SIM Card Tray

Insert the SIM Card Eject Tool into the hole on the SIM card tray and push until the tray pops out, then pull the tray out of the phone.

    3. Remove the back cover

Begin the disassembly process by removing the back cover. Insert a metal or plastic spudger between the frame and back cover and pry it up and remove the back cover.

    4. Unscrew and remove the protective cover

Use your Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the protective cover over the motherboard. Note that there are several screws, ensure that they are safely kept.

    5. Disconnect and Remove the faulty part

    • For battery: Dislocate the battery cable from the motherboard and gently lift the battery from the adhesive using a plastic spudger.
    • For camera: Detach the camera connector from the motherboard and remove the camera.
    • For Screen: Once the screen's flex cable is separated from the motherboard, use a plastic or metal spudger to separate the screen from the chassis.

    6. Install the new part

Reconnect the replacement part (battery, camera or screen) to the motherboard and ensure it is firmly attached.

    7. Reassemble the phone

Put back the protective cover and screw down with the Phillips screwdriver, then reattach the back cover. Please ensure all components are tight and clean before you switch on the phone.
