Instructions for Replacing Wiko Wim Repuestos

    Tools Required

You would need the following tools; precision screwdrivers, pry tool, tweezer, heat gun or a hairdryer.

    Step-by-Step Instructions

Note: This guide is meant for the battery and screen replacement. For other components like the motherboard or camera, consult a professional or refer to a detailed repair manual. These components require utmost precision and knowledge to replace without damaging other parts of the phone.

    • Step 1:

Firstly, turn off your Wiko Wim smartphone completely to avoid any electric shock or short circuit.

    • Step 2:

Remove the back cover of the Wiko Wim smartphone with the help of a plastic pry tool. Run the tool along the edges gently to pry it open.

    • Step 3:

Once inside, you will see the battery. To remove it, disconnect the connector linked to the motherboard. Gently lift the battery and replace it with the new one.

    • Step 4:

For screen replacement you need to remove the screws holding the LCD panel in place. Once the screws are out, use a hairdryer or a heat gun to warm up the adhesive holding the LCD screen.

    • Step 5:

Once the adhesive is loosened, gently lift the screen with a pry tool. Be careful not to harm the ribbon cables under it. Disconnect these cables to free the LCD screen.

    • Step 6:

Paste the new screen onto the phone. Reconnect the cables and reassemble your phone.

    Tips for Safe Replacement

Always ensure you are in a dust-free environment to prevent particles from getting into your phone. Also, be gentle while applying force to avoid damaging any part of the phone.
