    • Small Phillips screwdriver
    • Plastic opening tools
    • Spudger

    Steps to Replace Screen

    Please make sure that the phone is turned off before starting the replacement process.

    • Remove the SIM card tray from the phone.
    • Use the plastic opening tool to pry and separate the back cover from the body of the phone.
    • Unscrew the screws holding the protective metal plate in place over the motherboard. They can be removed using the small Phillips screwdriver.
    • Once the screws are removed, use a spudger to gently lift the protective metal plate.
    • Carefully disconnect the battery and the display connectors from the motherboard.
    • Now remove the defective screen from the phone. It may be adhered to the phone, so be gentle to avoid damage.
    • Place the new screen in position and connect it to the motherboard.
    • Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.
    • Re-apply the protective metal plate and screw it back in place.
    • Re-attach the back cover securely.
    • Insert the SIM card tray back into the phone.
