Replacing the Screen

- Locate the 10 screws securing the midframe and gently remove them using a screwdriver.
- Use a plastic opening tool to pry the midframe from the display frame.
- Disconnect the display connector using the spudger.
- Transition the home button from the old screen to the new one.
- Connect the new display, reassemble the midframe, replace the screws, battery, and back cover.
Replacing the Battery
- Power off the device, remove the back cover.
- Simply lift the battery out of its compartment.
- Place the new battery into the compartment, replace the back cover.
Replacing the Charging Port
- Power off the device, remove the back cover and battery.
- Remove the 10 screws securing the midframe and extract it.
- Use the spudger to disconnect the charging port connector.
- Replace the old charging port with the new one. Follow the steps in reverse to reassemble your device.
