Complete Blu-Ray drive mechanism for PlayStation 4 consoles using the KES-490AAA laser and KEM-490A assembly. This unit includes the optical reader, lens, tray, motor and internal mechanical system.

This product includes the mechanical drive and lens, but the lens is not guaranteed. Recommended for restoring reading functionality in systems with disc errors or mechanical failures.

Important notice:
To ensure functionality, you must reuse the original controller board from your PS4. Each drive board is uniquely paired to its console and cannot be replaced or swapped. The board included with this drive must be removed and replaced with the original from your previous unit.

• PS4 Slim or PS4 Pro

• Consoles using KES-496AAA, KEM-496, KES-860 or other drives

Installation guidelines:

• Disconnect the console completely before installation

• Always retain and reinstall the original controller board

• Do not handle the lens directly

• Use appropriate tools and be careful with ribbon cables
