Replacement Instructions

Replacing components on the iPad Mini 3rd Generation requires a steady hand and specialized tools. Prior to working, be sure you have a clean, organized workspace and you have discharged any static electricity from your body.

• Switch off your iPad Min 3rd Generation.
• Use a heat gun or a hairdryer to slightly heat the edges of the iPad screen. The purpose of this is to loosen up the adhesive that keeps the screen attached to the main body.
• Carefully insert a plastic or metallic prying tool in-between the screen and the body of the iPad. Gently work your way around the iPad to lift the screen off. Be very careful near the bottom of the iPad, as you could easily damage the home button or digitalizer cables.
• Unscrew the screws that hold the metal cover of the digitalizer and LCD cables, then remove both of the cables by gently pulling using the plastic tool. Now, the screen is completely disconnected and can be safely removed.
• Replace the broken or faulty components with the new GSM repuestos. Assemble everything in reverse order. Make sure to properly reseat all cables and screws.
