Power off the tablet to prevent any possible short circuit or damage during the replacement process. Remove any microSD or SIM card if present.
Using the plastic opening tools, gently pry off the back cover of the tablet. Start from a corner, inserting the tool between the cover and screen. Move the tool around the tablet edges to remove the cover.
Locate the battery connector on the circuit board. Use your plastic tool to gently disconnect the connector.
There are several small screws securing the display. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove them. Once completed, gently pry the screen up using the opening tool.
Place your new screen onto the tablet, lining up any screw holes. Secure it using the same screws you removed earlier. Insert the display connector into its socket on the circuit board.
Reconnect the battery to the circuit board. Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks into place all around the edge.
Turn on your Tactíl Tablet 8" Genérica to ensure the new screen is functioning correctly.
