    How to Replace Nintendo DS LITE

    Few steps to guide through perfect replacement:

    List of Tools Needed

    • Small Phillips Screwdriver
    • Tri-wing Screwdriver
    • Spudger

    Step by Step Replacement Instructions:

    • Remove the battery cover located on the bottom side of the DS LITE using a Phillips Screwdriver.
    • Take out the battery and set it aside.
    • Remove the remaining 7 screws from the bottom housing using a Tri-wing Screwdriver.
    • Carefully disconnect any ribbon cables, and be aware not to pull or tug on the motherboard.
    • Slowly remove the motherboard and bottom LCD.
    • Replace the old parts with the new replacement parts (motherboard, top LCD, Bottom LCD, casing, battery).
    • Reconnect the ribbon cables carefully.
    • Reinsert the screws to the bottom using the Tri-wing Screwdriver.
    • Finally, replace the battery and screw the battery cover back on using the Phillips Screwdriver.

    Turn on your DS to confirm if it is functioning properly. If it does not turn on, make sure the battery is charged and the ribbon cables are connected correctly.
