Required Tools

• Small Phillips head screwdriver
• Plastic opening tools
• New Nintendo DSi console

Steps

1. Start by powering off the Nintendo DSi.

2. Unscrew the battery cover on the back of the DSi and remove it. Remove the battery as well.

3. Remove the remaining screws from the back of the DSi, this will allow you to remove the lower casing of the DSi.

4. Slowly lift up the lower casing and unhook any ribbon cables connected to it.

5. Repeat this process with the upper casing.

6. Once all components are free from the original casing, you can begin the process of putting them in the new DSi case.

7. Start with the upper casing, attaching any ribbon cables and making sure all components are secure.

8. Repeat this with the lower casing. Once everything is secure, replace the back cover and screw it into place.
