The difference between Single SIM and Dual SIM configurations is found in the corresponding SIM reader and holder, so a different middle frame is not required for this reason. The included side buttons facilitate assembly and reduce the number of parts that need to be transferred.

This housing features a side slot for a physical SIM tray and is compatible with iPhone 16e A3408, A3409 and A3410 models. A3408 and A3409 versions use a physical Single SIM configuration, while A3410 uses a physical Dual SIM configuration and requires its corresponding SIM reader and tray. It is not compatible with the US iPhone 16e A3212, which does not have a physical SIM tray.
